| Poetry Group: POEMS FOR HARD TIMES Some of us find that when tough times hit, nothing works like sharing the dark experience with a poet fellow traveller . . . or reaching for an inspiring poetic perspective. You may want to pick up Garrison Keillor's newest collection, Good Poems for Hard Times. Or draw on your own reading and experience. As always, you are welcome to come and just listen and enjoy if you wish. (Ann & Bill Bushnell were planning to be away, so we planned to muddle through this one on our own – tho' surprise! Ann & Bill will be here after all). Here are some suggested poetic pieces to get things rolling. If you like a piece and you're feeling industrious, do a little digging to find out something about the poet and bring your information to share.
